The design career of Jesse Baggs began at California State University – Sacramento in 2002 when he became editor of the Variety Page at The State Hornet, the school’s student newspaper, where he implemented clean designs and popular new features that led faculty advisor and former Sacramento Bee ombudsman Sanders Lamont to name the Variety Page “the most valuable section in the paper for students.”
Shortly after graduation Jesse Baggs began working for TerraPass and helped come up with ideas for products, merchandise and marketing and created images and designs for surveys, packages, postcards and more, including co-brandings with companies such as Ford, Expedia, Sam’s Club and Michelin.
Since then Jesse Baggs has worked freelance for a variety of clients. He is proficient in PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver.
